By chance, to add, it was a shame that most of you seemed to be a mile away as I managed to get close to the segregated first barrier and speak to a German called Stefan and his girlfriend Andrea who were there for NO. She tried to get her wrist band off but couldn't in the hope of flinging it to me past the prowling security so Stefan disappeared telling me to hang on, then reappeared and told me to meet him by the entrance to the front pen where my wristband was exchanged for a new one and I was there, right down the very front. Got a wave from Hookyand a snarled "y'alright kid" as me and Stefan went f**king mental down the front. So for me, thanks to Stefan knowing one of the guys on security, they were great.
We got absolutely out of heads, pissed as farts afterwards with two other guys called Johann and someone I think called John during Williams set and had a great day.
The weather was gorgeous come to think of it now.
YSF was quite shocking as they hadn't done it for years but I thought Crystal was the most emotional moment as I hadn't heard it played live before (it had just been released as a single) Also, I remember it was Hooky that told Barney about the Mexican wave cheering which was mildly embarrasing.
Cologne is a great city if you like beer.
Shame I didn't make the Palladium gig.
