Just heard this surf cover version on Radio 1.

Yeah, heard it live. Very good. Go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/onemusic/ for Rob Da Bank's Thursday night show (updated on Friday morning). First song on there.

For my money the closet experience to the sorely missed "Uncle" John Peel on the radio.

Thanks for the tip-off about that one John-and also to Mr Discography for putting up the BBC link to let us check it out-makes Diggy Mike's Hawaiin shirts a bit more relevant to all things NO now.....:p

I actually think this is pretty good - very interesting and different take on the classic.

to me that sounds like james last does blue monday, which btw i believe atually exists.

A friend of mine plays surf guitar and I am trying to hear a clip of this song for him.

I can't listen to last week's Rob da Bank mix nor is there a 'Big Blue Monday' download on the Bikini Beach website.

Help need, if possible.

Radio One. lists as 'Check out all the shows you can listen to. scroll down to find One Music with Rob da bank.don't know if you can record it ..but should be there. good luck.

Hey thanks, but I just realized that Radio One only keeps it's shows for 7 days - has something to do with copyright issues.

SHITE!!! I'll have to find a short clip elsewhere.
