but as it's narrated by wilson it's primarily his story (or what he thinks is his story). just like the book 24HPP.
Aye, it's a great film, but as is frequently remarked, the legend is sometimes better than the truth... Definite pinch of salt needed at times... As for the lack of NO, I think once they have established themselves for Wilson it all becomes about the next big thing - the Mondays and that's where the focus shifts to - and arguably that is a far more interesting tale than NOs...

The DVD is now selling for £3.99 in virgin megastores sale. And while i'm at it, "Get Ready" is £2.99 in HMV's sale. Imagine that! They're both having sales. They haven't done that since ooh, the end of January. (and completely off topic, the Fall double CD: "50,000 Fall fans can't be wrong"; £5.99 at Virgin)

It's alright. I bought it about 6 months ago. Mainly just for Step On and 24 Hour Party People, but it wasn't the best album I've ever bought.
I was paid to sit in john simm's seat the other day, and got talking to his date for the half hour duration. she was very charming and quite beautiful and I was able to 'hold my own' until we got onto the subject of 24HPP. she got very animated about it being the most fun film she'd ever worked on. I flapped at this point because I'd obviously not done my homework and didn't recognise her. she had to tell me she played yvette, tony wilson's last missus. I was a twat and just became a sweaty fan but she was still an interesting and gracious companion for the extended awkward stretch. but that doesn't really compare with how I embarrassed myself 3 years ago while under the influence in my local pub when sean harris came in....
