Tony Wilson,XFM Manchester...

Driving into Manchester today(Sunday)..couldnt help notice the billboards promoting the new XFM Manchester radio station,97.7 for those that can pick it up.Anyway ,tuned in the radio and the dulcet tones of Tony Wilson came thru loud and clear.Apparently he has a sunday dinner time slot where he has a different studio guest in with him .Today was Clint Boon and obviously the talk/chat centred around the manchester music scene with Tony telling a tale of how New Orders van was stolen in NY i think in the 80's,turnin up on Manhatten Island ..didnt get to hear the full tale ,the missus wanted to go shopping and hadnt come to Manchester to sit in a multi storey car park listening to Tony Bloody Wilson,her words not mine .. ..anyway from the bit i heard ,could be a quite interesting radio show and you can bet your bottom dollar that he will have one of the members of NO on it sooner or later ..

now that XFM, XM, Sirius etc. Satellite Radio is taking off so high.
