Apologies for my rather limp upload speed btw.

I'm in superseed mode, might make it marginally quicker...

I was about to use TMPGenc to author a DVD from the recording I made last night when I saw this!

Has this BitTorrent DVD got chapters for the different songs and menus. If it has then I won't bother authoring my DVD.

Not posted anything on there before, hope it works...

If it works, you'll make my day

I'll be seeding it forever once I get it ;)

Maybe not forever, but a while ;)

Username, Password and stuff??? :confused2: :(

Only 64kB when downloaded to torrent file?

Purelivegigs is one of the easiest and best bittorrent sites. Although traffic is smaller than most it is pretty hastle free. People are willing to reseed if you fail to complete. Sign up, no big deal. Remember to share.

BTW, dimeadozen.org is down to 93K users. Good time to sign up for that one.

err, you get all that for yourself when you register with purelivegigs. It's free...

Ah, downloading now. 19 hours remaining.

what is it? You Must Upload at least 25% of what you Download I don´t get any file on pure gigs. I ´m register a two weeks ago.

That means do not download and dash. After you successfully DL keep the torrent going to share with others and improve your ratio. I have like a 3.0 share ratio yet I have never started a seed. Have none to give that peeps would want. But I check back and see if anyone needs help DLing a torrent.

BTW part of the bit torrent system is that you automatically upload while you download. When people hook up after you you start sharing with them automatically. No big deal, no brainer.

That wasn't fun though when I had a much smaller upload limit than download limit... :uhoh:

With a capacity of 75,000. They are dumping people with low ratios, and letting in one new user for every three they bin. Or something like that. They have a plan to reduce the number of members down to 75k over the next few months to ensure they don't overload.

I sure hope 0.77 isn't considered too low a ratio, or else I'll be oot :(

Got registered on purelivegigs no problem. I'll be downloading this later today, thanks Old Blue :thumb:

You're quite safe there Geri - there are literally thousands of leeching bastards with ratios of less than 0.2 :banghead:

Mine's still below 1.0, because I spent far too long downloading some DVDs and then found I couldn't play them, so deleted them (in the days before I got a DVD drive for my PC). Taken forever to build it up to near 1.0.

2.02 on Dime. Was higher but the last few weeks I seem to DL what others do not want to DL.

How do you find out what your ratio is ?? :confused2:

I haven't downloaded any Torrents for a couple of years now but always left the seeding going back the other way when I did.

I think my PC was on constantly for about two months when there were a lot of NO gigs on Sharing The Groove.

I'll leave this one going for the rest of the week if I get it ok.

on dimeadozen it tells you quite clearly at the top of the page, it's there as a constant reminder. don't know about any other sites, but it must be shown somewhere surely.

I'm at 65%... I guess once a few people will hit 100%, this will speed up the whole thing.

Obviously I'm uploading a lot more than I'm downloading...

Aye, nice work Old Blue. I shall create some artwork to slip inside a case.

You can clearly see Mr Sultan, WenOrder & Myself in the front row taking pictures on most of love vigilantes.

Can't miss Mr Sultan, he's wearing a white turtle neck shirt.

And I saw my NOOL t-shirt :p

You can also see me talking to the pro photographer telling him who's who on stage

Finally got round to flicking through this last night.

Now, did I or did I not say this was a very static audience at the time?!

It's even worse than I actually remember.

Now, someone might believe me!

Bad case of the blues. I wrote earlier I would do some artwork but apparently my PC decided to blow itself up yesterday so it aint gonna happen for a while. Sorry for now Old Blue.

That's me all the way in the front near hooky with the red hat, second from the right.

I had the time of my life at this show. Static audience or not, it was a phenomenal concert from my stand point. However, the production company did a completely fuck ass job with this recording. Of all the pro-shot concerts I've seen, this ranks as one of the worst. Director needs to be shot. It seems they didn't have a soundboard feed on Hooky's drum gizmo for Blue Monday. He was murdering that thing in real life.

Missing are WFTSC and BLT. Why? I think I know. The dumbass camera men all hit record on their cameras at the same time. So what does that mean? They all had to turn off their cameras and switch to a blank DV tape at the same time. Fucking retards. My friend and I noticed that at the concert.

Barney totally busts his ass during Jetstream. Even though they cut away during the actual fall, you can totally see Phil's surprised reaction to what happened.

Still very grateful for this! Got a couple close-ups during me during Kraft and Temptation I'll have to freeze frame for all my friends. :thumb:

Could any of you direct me to some free software that I could use to burn this to dvd disc?

I think this should do the trick:

http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/

But you might want to wait for the actual DVD and get a copy of that. The quality seems questionalble to me for "DVD." Judging from all the artifacts, looks like it was compressed to mpeg1 and then converted to mpeg2. Also isn't anamorphic. But I can dig it if it's something to hold you over till the actual release. I'm in the same boat. :D

Any trial version of Nero should do the job ;)

As for quality... this isn't the DVD, it's the TV feed (probably why there are 2 songs missing)

Give it a rest, and a big thank you to Old Blue for this!

As I mentioned above, my PC at home decided to jump off a cliff the other day but I've managed to whip something up quickly for those who want some artwork.

Cheers
