Right then my shandy drinking buddies, Manchester this weekend - does anyone know what's happening yet? (being a novice at these things i don't really know what format the event will take)

I think the arrangements are in the capable hands of the Livster, but I think the plan is to meet in Dry around lunchtime on the Saturday. From there we'll just see what happens. I'm due to arrive at 4.30 on the Friday and I expect i'll meet Liv, Shug, and a few others that night for a few sweet sherries before the main event on Saturday. See you there!

Jarvo, Johnny Giles and myself will be arriving at Piccadilly at 3.32pm on the Saturday if the trains are running to schedule. After that, I have no idea what is happening. Is anyone looking at the accommodation situation ? Makes sense for us all to be in the same/nearby places, so we can find our way round etc.

oooh im getting all excited now.... Muffy has the right idea, however, i will post something in the next day or two concerning arrangements.... i need to discuss things with my fellow residents...:)

I dare say i'll need accomodation for about 3 hours or something as i have to be back in the land of the sandyback at around 10 so i shall need to be up early - alas this makes the all dayer a bad idea. i understand Major T has mobile numbers for some of you so we may be able to locate you a bit later as i believe i am his taxi driver for the event.
Know where we can stop Liv? Better try to book a bed soon i suppose!
