Marie Antoniette - New Trailer, more New Order

Just saw a new, longer trailer for Marie Antoniette. Instead of Age of Consent it uses Ceremony, green sleeve version. It looks really good.

If it's not your kind of film at least you get to see Kirsten Dunst's bum.

I'd provide a link to the trailer but when I went back to the website it was down...go to the Onion's website, go to their A/V Club page and there's a blog entry on Kirsten Dunst - there is a link to the trailer.

Even though the trailer uses New Order, I'm not interested in viewing the film itself, though.

Love watching those sorts of films and NO songs will make it all the more watchable.

Is this version of Ceremony (the Green sleeve version which I do own on vinyl) available on CD anywhere?

I might have been wrong in my original post, they might be using snippets of both versions.

But the green sleeve version is on cd on the 'Singles' compilation that just came out.

There now seems to be some "confusion" :-)

I can tell you that the version on "Singles" is NOT the Green sleeve version. It's the same as the Substance version of Ceremony which is that in the white sleeve with the blue stripe.

The Green sleeve version has guitar feedback in it at the bridge. It's actually superior I think. However, to my knowledge it is not available on CD!

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The version of Ceremony on Singles is the original 7" version (albeit with the channels reversed - but that's another story). The version on Substance is the other version (with Gillian). You cannot define them by the 12" sleeves as both versions have appeared in the same sleeve.

I have heard that the French can get mad if you took their culture the wrong way. Would a modernized version of Marie Antoinette's life be suitable for them, or am i just creating some unnecessary hype? I rented "Amelie," and according to the director (on the special features), some people got mad at him for putting sound effects, tinting, etc. to modernize the look of the film.

But who worries about upsetting the French?

Well, the French take great pride in their culture, including history and art.
