Here are 2 of mine:

  • Stephen Morris left on the room drumming when everybody was leaving
  • Stephen & Gillian who couldn't enter the Haçienda even if they were owners because they didn't have an invitation

And that table... :evil4:

God to Wilson:

Pity you didn't sign the Smiths. But you were right about Mick Hucknell. His music's rubbish and he's a ginger.

All of the above.

plus, last night in FAC 51, after Wilson's speach, that beat dropping in and the place going mad. And Hannet recording silence then recording Tony Fuckin Wilson.

And of course, the sequence blending Happy Mondays into Gerald.."New Order were right".

And one lost scene too...Mondays slaughtering BM LOL

I love this movie.

"I'm a serious fucking journalist! I went to Cambridge University!"

"I'm being post-modern. Before it was fashionable."

On ACR: "They're crap though." "Utter shite."

Bernard while producing for the Mondays tastes his Chinese food and immediately throws it into the trash. Ryder and someone else jump after it.

Gretton smoking the joint while the London people were buying Factory.

Wilson on the Monday's tour bus on the offering of charlie, "Cocaine is the destroyer of art." (something like that)

Martin Hannett to Wilson in the studio with the Mondays,

I'm only a low life medium sized fish in a tiny pond and I'VE said shit as bad or worse over a talkback (more so at a gig than in the studio) on a number of occassions, and that low growling voice he uses is very well observed...it's a technique called "shouting without actually shouting cos it will peak the talkback mic" LOL

Oh and I forgot....the advenures of Robinson Rider or whatever..."why the fook shoul ah"

And Dr Eccleston calling philosophy down the street.

And of course the end credits when Here to Stay kicks in, that tune chokes me up, there's something about hearing barney sing "we're here to stay" while Hooky knocks the living shite out of his bass that speaks straight to my soul.
