Was wondering what the story was here: who mixed this, where else it is available, is it any good.

I think it was done by Brothers In Rhythm but is not the Brothers Dubstrumental which is widely available on the digipack CD single. Must've been an alternative dub they had to spare and simply chucked on the 12". It has similar samples/beats as the Dubstrumental but it's definitely a variation (if I'm recalling correctly). It's not available on CD to date.

I keep meaning to do a proper vinyl to CDR conversion of a number of NO related vinyl but I don't have the proper setup at the moment.

It's a fantastic mix in my opinion. In fact, I had to put it on just to properly think about the topic. A few friends of mine got creative with it thinking they were dj's and skritched scratched across my first copy, but that was only for the classy "duh duh duh, duhduhduh duh" bassline drop after all the low down dubby beginning.

There's this part where it all breaks down, a wave building up over an ocean... in the club, it was like a shockwave had hit everyone and that's when the dancing got fierce.

It used to be one of my get ready to go out songs. :laugh: I think I'll reshelve it for just such a thing. :shades:
