In a feature entitled "The Best & Worst Things in Music" this is listed as one of the worst....

NEW ORDER'S LIVE VERSION OF LOVE WILL TEAR US APART

When : 2001 - Present Why : Ian Curtis's epitaph really doesn't gain anything from being played at festivals and having Peter Hook bellowing "C'mon!" just before the chorus.

One of only seven entries including "GARY GLITTER BEING A PAEDO". Jesus it aint that bad!!!!

Surely every live performance is different :confused2:

I know this certainly divides people but, personally, I really don't give a fcuk if Hooky bellows or Barney whoops over said track, or whatever.

Bring on a team of can-can dancers, really liven it up a bit!

Some people have just swallowed too much of the myth.

well what do you expect from a magazine that pretends its a wank mag.who buys it anyway.its for men too scared to buy mayfair and club.its a politically correct wank mag with a shit name.and the artical is just an excuse to talk about gary glitter and later will probably print pictures of pete docherty injecting himself with vinegar again or using lemon juice to break it down.so if your reading this william drew lay of the new order slating session.or did you slag of peter hook to make your mag look good like as in "them were the days" im cool i remember ian curtis singing it.call yourself an editor. dont ever print gary glitter and new order on the same fucking page again you fucking cunt.

I kind of agree, to be honest. I dont think the song's a sacred cow or anything but yelling 'Cmon you cunts, sing along!' just kills the spirit of the song.

Have you ever read Arena? It's the first "wank mag" I've ever bought with Tom Cruise on the cover!!!! And it's the only mag out there worth reading IMHO. Since "Jack" bit the dust anyway.

Agreed - I just love shouting "COME ON!" during LWTUA (as evidenced by the Brixton bootleg)!
