Warners have probably got thousands of copies of the `02 release in a warehouse and are gonna try and off load them.

Ding!
Great news!
En-ger-lund!
Just arrived in England for the first time in weeks last night. The sun is shining and every other car seems to have English flags flying from it's windows.
A re-release of the best World Cup song ever recorded can only do more to raise national morale and make this world cup the celebration it should be.
Lerruz at them Argies again!

They'd better put exclusive tracks on it...
Could be a double-A with Turn...
Maybe not...

Spot on!!
i've ordered my england flags to piss off the jocks round my end, it'll be world in motiuon cranked up to the max too for the opening game!!!
It'd be funny if it out sold the Embrace crap that's covering as a world cup song this year. Atleast Embrace are NO fans.
Please dont be so judgemental.
Ive heard the 2006 version of the song and its the dogs bollox. Its been updated with Wayne Rooney performing a terrible rap inplace of John Barnes original. You would have thought with so much time on his hands the wounded striker would have got some singing (i mean rapping) lessons.:D
More 'refreshed' NO tracks coming in '06 include:
True Faith '06
Run 3
Blue Monday May '06
Blue Monday June '06
Blue Monday Orig+'88 (Mash Up feat. excepts of Blue Monday '95)
Blue Monday Sept '06 (aka 10 Mins. Before Green Tuesday Mix)
Jetstream (Scissor Sisters Mix-Barney's vocals have replaced with Ana Mantronic)
Run 3.5

It'll be a good excuse to get out of the venue for a smoke!
(or is that Blue Monday?
)
It's a well know fact that Brazil have never recorded an official World Cup song
Another well worn fact is that England have only ever won it on home soil
It's also a well know fact that they have won it five times (which is why I married a Brazilian girl and can therefore claim citizenship and be, by proxy, a five times world cup winner.
Another well known fact is that Brazil are the only World Cup winners who actually lost on their home soil
Put all this together and I predict that England will win the World Cup in Brazil 2014 on the back of Jack's NEW version of WIM, with Aaron Lennon doing the rap!
2-1 aginst Argentina in the final (Rooney gets the first with a dodgy handball goal and later claims that it was the "Hand of Burberry" wot scored it...
Anybody who wants tickets for the games in 2014 should contact me now!
You read it here first!

Very funny parody of their remixes....![]()
Let's not get carried away. We all know the HMV website is about as reliable as the Razzle Readers' Wives section. I'm told.

When something's good, it's never gone.
Blimey, that's quick for HMV - they normally wait until the week after it's release to pull it from their site! ![]()

That's not funny. ![]()
Good grief.. there's only so much one can milk a cow, and BM's cow is running from the farm hands with raw teats and moo-ing for her freedom. You'd think someone, somewhere up in the heirarchy of the mix business would just sit down and say "Alright, you guys. No More Blue Monday or True Faith mixes. At the least release, fans set the store on fire."

I just picked up a white label 12" titled "WIM 2006".
Tracks are: "Avenue Express Mix" and "Street Motion Mix"
I don't have access to a turntable at the moment, so I was wondering if anyone has heard these mixes?
thanks for the link...btw this site seems to get it right...one stop to buy the vinyl and get the mp3's (so I can listen to 'em til the vinyl arrives)...and i can use paypal as well.

Those sound like bootleg mixes, I wouldn't waste your money. Dead giveaway is the WIM "samples" sound like the entire song being stopped and started "behind" a generic house mix. That basically shows the remixers didn't have access to the multitracks which is what all official remixers are given.
I recently came accross a True Faith '05 CDR a few months ago and it was a bootleg mix, there are obviously more floating around. It's not that I mind bootleg mixes, it's just that 99% of them tend to be f*cking rubbish!
I'd be very surprised if these came from London Records or Warner Bros, we already know WIM2006 never made it off the ground according to Hooky.
good point Ally...going to keep the mp3's but shelve the vinyl buy until there is more info as to whether this is legit....also want to make sure the boys (and Gillian) get paid too.
Didn't the whole thing fall through when the English FA wouldn't sanction Becks doing the rap?
Let's face it, that voice is hardly going to rev anyone's engine up.
