When something's good, it's never gone.

Blimey, that's quick for HMV - they normally wait until the week after it's release to pull it from their site!

Ah, it's reappeared - bugger...

 That's not funny.

Good grief.. there's only so much one can milk a cow, and BM's cow is running from the farm hands with raw teats and moo-ing for her freedom. You'd think someone, somewhere up in the heirarchy of the mix business would just sit down and say "Alright, you guys. No More Blue Monday or True Faith mixes. At the least release, fans set the store on fire."

I just picked up a white label 12" titled "WIM 2006".

Tracks are: "Avenue Express Mix" and "Street Motion Mix"

I don't have access to a turntable at the moment, so I was wondering if anyone has heard these mixes?

Ive heard the 2006 version of the song and its the dogs bollox. Its been updated with Wayne Rooney performing a terrible rap inplace of John Barnes original. You would have thought with so much time on his hands the wounded striker would have got some singing (i mean rapping) lessons.:D

I heard that Maradonna was doing the rap this time around?!?!?!

right after fatty Maradonna did a of blow, right?

Those sound like bootleg mixes, I wouldn't waste your money. Dead giveaway is the WIM "samples" sound like the entire song being stopped and started "behind" a generic house mix. That basically shows the remixers didn't have access to the multitracks which is what all official remixers are given.

I recently came accross a True Faith '05 CDR a few months ago and it was a bootleg mix, there are obviously more floating around. It's not that I mind bootleg mixes, it's just that 99% of them tend to be f*cking rubbish!

I'd be very surprised if these came from London Records or Warner Bros, we already know WIM2006 never made it off the ground according to Hooky.

good point Ally...going to keep the mp3's but shelve the vinyl buy until there is more info as to whether this is legit....also want to make sure the boys (and Gillian) get paid too.

Yup, don't believe it's going to get a reissue?

Didn't the whole thing fall through when the English FA wouldn't sanction Becks doing the rap?

Let's face it, that voice is hardly going to rev anyone's engine up.
