not a huge fan of remixes, but the Arthur Baker 1963 and the Pink Morel True Faith remix i don't mind listening too.
and to a degree, the session remixes of Isolation and Touched

Not a massive fan of remixes, and probably haven't heard some fairly good ones, but of the stuff I have heard the Howie B remix of AOC is probably my fave... Regret (Fire Island) is ok as well...

I think NewOrder have lost something by filling up releases with remixes. I much prefered the days of 12" singles backed with a dub version.
Most NO remixes are utter gash but if I was forced at gunpoint to list my favourite dozen it would have to be these (in no specific order)

People bang on about the bad remixes so much you forget that there (almost) as many good 'uns out there. My personal top five would be:
- Ruined in a day (Reunited in a day remix) < All time fave
- Krafty (Morel's Pink Noise Vocal)
- Waiting For The Sirens' Call (Wally Gagel Remix)
- Someone Like You (Gabriel + Dresden 911 Vocal Mix)
- Blue Monday-95 (Hardfloor Radio Edit) < Best 7" mix of BM ever
Could easily stretch to a top 10 including more from the Republic singles (World Perfecto, Spooky Minimix etc.) and the Biff & Memphis TBTHOG is (and always has been) fantastic 
Worst remix offenders would be BLT (Armand Van Helden mix) which has no redeeming features whatsoever. The recent Tocadisco effort on Regret was also a bag of shite as Paul Calf would say. Oh, and I can't forget an "honourably shite" mention for Run2 (Extended mix); a totally shambolic take on a fine NO single with badly placed breakbeats 
people's complaints' about remixes are often puzzling... and sometimes some complain about house music then claim they like some of the most bland stereotypical house remixes... its all kinda bizarre, but i guess you can't be bothered to give them all a good listen
the New Order method is by trying lots of guys to remix, then sort thru what they get back and see what sticks to the wall. some remixes are more inspired than others, while others are just collecting a paycheck
always liked Hardfloor's remix of Blue Monday, really tried hard to remake Blue Monday in a classic acid style while still having the intregrity of the song intact.
the Phones remix of Krafty was dope.... i guess it depends on your mood.

So, anyway, I was wonderinh where I can get these remixes? apart from the 'Rest of New Order' and the Retro boxset (which I have)?

The CD singles mainly. The four Republic singles are basically all remixes (cept one obscure House instrumental) and the recent WFTSC singles are all remixes really, not even a solitary bside.
The best CD singles to get are the US Imports because they tend to have 8 or 9 remixes crammed onto them and some exclusives the UK never got. Have a look on eBay for the US "Maxi-CDs" of Crystal, Krafty and Jetstream and you'll see what I mean, they're pretty cheap to get these days too.

Run2 is wicked an all as is Mac Quayles Guilt, Perfecto World, Quicey Jones' Touched, Pettibone's BLT, Lee Combe's Crystal.
Worst would be Armand Van Helden BLT, that cunt from Erasure's EGG, Howie B's AOC and the Bogle RIAD.

Aye, that's one of the recent UK Promo CD-Rs which always goes for that sort of price, and much higher when they're new (that one's a few months old now) Part of the reason those CDRs reach such barmy prices is because New Order (or their label) refuse to put new remixes out on CDs. The 5 from that CDR are only available on 4 different bits of vinyl or something stupid like that.
In other words, yer fooked if you haven't got a decent turntable setup. Warners have buggered up the last few sets of remixes so some fans (me included) have had to shell out over eBay to get the promos
Nobody's forcing us mind but some of us collect :D

Regret- The funky mix; was it Fire Island?
WFTSC- Planet Roc mix; brand new, but the dog's danglies!
Reunited in a day- An average song transformed into a class act.

When I bought the Pump Panel 2x12" in 1995, I could not (and still can't) stand the A-Side, but that Floatation Mix is the bomb!

1963 (arthur baker remix) and "Ruined in a Day" (Reunited remix) just because they both transcends so much from the original, but many other fantastic remixes like Felix Da Housecat's "Here to Stay" and some others.
The original "Here to Stay" has an energetic vibe already to it-- almost manic-- and Felix Da Housecat's version parlays it without losing it's edge even though the bpm is a bit slower than the original. Tough song to pull off I would imagine.
By the way, Felix Da Housecat did a remix of "Slow Hands" by Interpol and it sounds absolutely great.
The Mac Quayle vocal mix of Guilt is a Useless Emotion and the Perfecto Mix of World (price of love). Blue Monday 88, we well.
For awful remixes, how about Blue monday 95, the Felix da house cat remix of Here to Stay, Shame of the nation, and that awful version of Subculture on Substance? For the latter, I'm convinced this version is why people hate this song. The original is excellent.
I think Ruined In a Day (K-Klass Remix) is by far the best, but Regret (Fire Island Mix) does come close. I'm not a fan of the original Ruined In a Day, but the remix is fantastic! By the way, I think Reunited In a Day was a different remix, and not the K-Klass one.
My favourite is Round And Round (Club Mix) fron the 'Round & Remix' single
BLT (Shep Pettibone Remix) deserves a mention as does Crystal (Lee Coombs Mix)

Agreed, this is one of the best mixes out there, yet everyone seems to favor that horrible Fire Island rubbish.
Kinda surprised by the responses. I view 12 inch mix of BLT as extraordinary, and the Round and Round remix, damn, cant remember what it was called, on the 12 inch record, that starts with that clipping synth line instead of the slow build up is just incredible. I think the reinforcement of this comes from the fact that I didnt even like Round and Round much but that remix got me to LOVE it. The New Order remix of Regret is also extremely interesting, offers a completely different and distinct interpretation.
For me it's got to be the recent Secret Machines rejig of Temptation. Understated maybe, but one of the few that doesn't murder original. I think the only time NO sound dated is when listening to some of these mixes, especially the True Faith one with those cheesey keyboard stabs at the beginning.
I'm not a big fan of remixes, but New Order do have a lot of good ones. I'll go with the Pump Panel Reconstruction Remix of Confusion, partly because it is so different from the original (what the hell is the point of doing a remix if it's just the same damn song with a couple minutes of stretched out garbage at the intro and the outro?). I do like BLT 87 and Blue Monday 87 too, though.
