The Forth's a real nice boozer about 2 mins from the venue - further up Westgate Road is Tilleys - again, good quality pub.

And there's a Burger King directly opposite the venue to soak up the booze.

Can't wait.

Thanks for the info, I think this one could be the gig date for me. What about the airport? is it easy to get to the venue?

It's pretty easy to navigate your way around Newcastle, but feel free to email me if you want me to give you my mobile number in case you get stuck on the day :)

Same goes for anyone else.

Dave- unless you accept my mobile number i will take your remark as sexist and complain to the moderators. Now would you prefer a male or female tour guide??:evil4:

Ticketweb....

Whilst I was looking at the tickets to see where I got them from, the door bell rang... It was the postman with Wolves & Newcastle tickets.. :D What a good Friday I am having...

Just had a heart attack... the door bell went again and a guy said I have a letter from Ticketmaster for you.. :deal: I had a sudden feeling of dread that in my excitement I had ordered duplicate tickets.. opening the envelope I saw the name Wolves Civic and then I remembered that I had booked a ticket for a friend separately.. panic over... good day can resume.....

:banghead: ordered tickets for Glasgow on the Wed night.(making sure that we don't get a repeat of Hooky's burst ear drum again the last time NO were in Glesga-fortunately I went to the Sunday night gig back then)Balcony standing. Anyone been to the Carling Academy in Glasgow, give me their thoughts of Balcony standing tickets or can you easily access downstairs standing. I still prefer a right good pogo!! p.s Glasgow Thursday night tickets still on sale through ticketweb

Has anyone recently bought "standing" tickets for the wembley show on seetickets.com? how long do they take to deliver the tickets? does it take awhile to send overseas (US), i bought them today.

They did last year, this year it's UK's time.

So you would have to wait for another album to even consider them to tour in North America.

South America might be a possibility for later this year apparently, they didn't go there for 15 years at least.
