Hooky and Barney refused to ever talk with Tony Wilson. So any discussions about money were left to Steve. He kept 85% and gave the others 5% each. Gillian married him cos he was the rich one.
They bought a big farm and all the countryside around Macclesfield.
Hooky and Barney lived in the corner of the beer cellar at the Hacienda.
When the Hac closed, Steve and Gillian took pity on them and they now live in one of Steve's old Tanks at the bottom of a field.
Most of NEW ORDER own SHEDS cos i have slept in them in my STALKING days.But i've turned over a new leaf now! GROUND control to MAJOR TOM-there are some strange people in the garden!
I though everyone slept on bunkbeds in the cabin in Steve's Tank out in the yard - flash bastards

inside their minds and dreams and fancy old mansions tucked away from prying eyes and the madness of a modern world. they probably have a flat in london, lots of hotels reservations, and assorted access to friend's villas nestled near or on some lovely body of water harboring a sailboat or two. NO reek of leisure time spent. they leave all the fuss to their fan base.

No was never planning on finding them its just that i was curious that it seems to be common knowledge that Stev and Gillian live in Macc but no-one seems to know whaere the others live thats all , wish i had never bloody bothered asking now

Barney and Hooky are everywhere. Aries is promoting a philosophical idea as to where they reside. I think the original question was more...fact-based? Steve & Gillian plus their brood and assorted military vehicles reside near the Cheshire/Derbyshire boundary and are locals at their local hostelry.
Hooky and his ex Caroline shared a large detached house in "a nice part of Salford" during their brief marriage and it's possible that Barney now lives in somewhere a little more upmarket than the backstreet terraced house he did as a kid.
