Did New Order release a version of Temptation on an old 33 1/3rd rpm single or am I imagining it?

there is an ep called factus8 with Temptation on it. look it up in the discography on this site, under music.

Temptation was released as a 33 1/3rd rpm single.
Which probably confused a lot of people who would have automatically had the speed set to 45rpm 
Thanks, it's the 7" I was thinking of. Found it on Wikipedia:
"Released on 12" and 7" vinyl, both formats had the catalogue number FAC 63. The two formats are not merely different mixes, but entirely separate recordings of the same song. The 7" version is a more structured version with a commercial synthpop feel; the 12" is more chaotic with the emphasis on electronic rhythms rather than melody. The 7" version plays at 33.3rpm to accommodate its length of around five and a half minutes."

Shug mate,i have it from a reliable source that you have never played a vinyl record at 45rpm,because you were told that playing them that speed would use more electricity than 33.3. Is this true?

yep and the flip side was HURT, they call them 12" singles. it came with some amazing art on both sides of the sleeve by PSA. reflecting back - one wondrous song on each side with one beautiful piece of art to match. what were they thinkng? it was an 80's thing.

Isn't the 7" FAC 63 & 12" FACT63?
