i was just over at discogs.com reading dimitri from paris' biography and it said that he had remixed t'order. i'm a big fan of dimitri. i also think that NO would have done well to be remixed in the house style more often rather than the preferred deep tech/progressive style that seems to characterize their remixes from the 90s onward. Anyway was wondering if anyone could confirm the veracity of this claim, did dimitri from paris remix ye olde ordere. or is it an error?

Think it was Confusion for DMC about 10 years ago. Wasn`t that good if its what im thinking of.
There is a Dimitri (aka DMC) remix of Confusion which was on one of those "Volume" compilations in the early nineties. Yup, looking at the Niagara Discog it was Volume One.
Could be the one you're after, it's actually a pretty decent mix as well.

Eh,DMC is actually Disco Mix Club,a DJ only subscription service the release`s remixes of other artists records. Sasha,Brothers In Rhythm and any other DJ you can think of has remixed for them. There is a weird mix of Fine Time on a DMC 12" that is the Silk Mix with vocal snippets of Coming To America on it (Yes,it is as shit as it sounds!).

Yup, I wasn't meaning DMC stood for Dimitri 
it's just that Dimitri mix "has been known" as the DMC mix. It was on the Substance Abuse 1994 boot as well I think.
Last New Order mix I got off a DMC compilation was the Guy Garrett Album Mix of WFTSC. An 8 minute megamix of most of the tracks off the album mixed together with the Krafty drumbeat running throughout it all; wasn't too bad actually.
I've got a remix of Confusion on 'Volume'... not a bad one at all. Cant remember if it was a 'Dimitri' though.
