Hi,

I am just wondering if the Party People movie will be making a run in the United States. I highly doubt it will have a wide audience, but I would love to see it on the big screen.

It is also curious whether or not they will be coming to the U.S. to do a tour? If they do, they should bring the movie with them to show before one of their concerts.

maybe if you live in new york or la. bet we will have to wait till it comes out on video. who in the usa is going to see a film aabout something they never heard of? i tell people about the film and they say who? what? ian curtis? who is he? And also I doubt they will come here, although I have an open invitation to my house in Pittsburgh if they want to come over for some Iron City beer and some great pasta and meatbaalls!

I'm hoping for the same thing, but doubtful it'll see a wide release. Maybe if they get Britney or Russell Crowe to cameo......in other words I'm gonna have to wait for the DVD.

No US tour either, I would guess, seeing as they passed on it a month or so ago.

Has anyone heard if it will be a short while before this movie goes to video? I would love to see it.

Tabsy, don't hold yer breathe, that DVD will be Region 2 only and won't play in our players. We need to set America on Fire and cross the ocean to live in cultured, exciting places. Fuck America and Americans...I hate this place.

Patsy...good to see that you do still check in on us!!!

and Brian, I think you might just have another good idea there...I'm afraid that I may not be willing to come back this summer...I try to get the radio stations down here to play something new by the order, and they won't do it...

the DVD...I won't be able to play it in my DVD player...

I really am not all that happy with the world today...I guess I should just go have a beer!!!

And we won't even be able to get a compatible version of the video, Jeff, since the single undoubtedly won't ever be released here!

I take it us New Order fans in the US could be labelled as pessimistic, eh? Believe me, I ain't loving the fact that I live in a part of the country beholden to country muzak and Dukes of Hazzard, but I don't know if I'd be willing to relocate entirely. Nevertheless, that limited release date has me wondering......
