Saw this is HMV this week...

Good tracks, but it is incredibly similar to the 'AWESOME' compilations (1&2) of a few years back which were very Madchesteresque...

seen the advert for it. not bad. might get that. if only coz my Northside single is in storage, and i wouldn't mind a fresh listen to that.

and candy flip. aint heard that for a while either.

Jesus! Someone who actually rates that godawful limpwristed CandyFlip desecration of an otherwise quite decent Beatles tune? What drugs are/were you on?

Looked at this in HMV Sunday; bought New Wave Heroes from Tesco instead........................and another copy of Dark Side of the Moon Pink Floyd (lost the other one).....seemed a better buy to me............
