Playing new order songs on melodica

I just purchased an old hohner melodica on ebay and I was wondering if anyone could provide instructions for playing the melodica bits from Truth & Your Silent Face. I'm hoping that I was right in buying a soprano (I assumed Barney used one because his looked green in the Taras Shevchenko concert, but I just realized that might only have been because of the lighting).

This ought to be easy...have a keyboard lying around? They're three or four note melodies most of the time.

Blow into it and play the notes in the right order

It took me about five minutes to pick up Your Silent Face and I am not at all musical (and, as some others here will confirm, I was absolutely out of my mind on strong cider at the time).

Brilliantly, the melodica bit from the middle of Run Wild can be played on the same three notes as YSF, so you learn two for the price of one. If you're playing with someone else, you may have to change the key. Fuck knows how you do that: play the same sequence of keys further up the thing probly. Love Vigilantes is not really worth playing - not really much on it's own. So now I know them all.

I watched Barneys fingers at the Academy and it looked to me like he plays it differently to me, which just shows how shit they've become recently. They used a tape on Run Wild, so the band could concentrate on the words. Going by the performance at Hyde Park, they should have used tapes for the guitars and drums too. Or just used taped vocals.
