Just got back, got to say it was fantastic. Haven't seen him dj for quite some time, but he seems much more polished with practice! Such a nice bloke, immediately came over to say hello and gave me a hug and a kiss.

Had the crowd roused at every opportunity. Played great selection of tracks, last half was mainly New Order/Joy Division/Monaco remixes, but no complaints there! Amusing point when a bloke was doing 'air bass' along to Crystal, he went over and tried to push his legs wider apart!

The decks were less than satisfactory and kept cutting out!

Hooky may be grateful he didn't turn up earlier, one of the bands did a rather unpleasant cover of Atmosphere. That song should just be left alone and not tampered with in such a way.

Good turn out - Missy Gem, Bonzette, Nick King, Al, Mark, Wolfram, Dave Legge, Adam, Greg, Jim Riley.

Loads of pics were taken so I'm sure some will appear soon.

Nice hair cut Hooky!

Just thought I'd put in an appearance before I fall into bed! A fantastic night was had including a lot of great banter. Highlight of the night for me was Hooky saying "My, how you've grown" in response to my Monaco web site antics from 2000, top bloke :thumb:

Missy Jem has some fantastic photos of the night :D we'll hopefully be seeing them soon.

Twas very cool having a beer with Nick, Al, Ness, Missy Jem, Dave, Adam, JG, Bonzette and anyone else I've forgotten as I'm completely fooked right now, everyone made a superb effort :)

ZZzzzzzzzzZzzz....

Forgot to ask him what he's doing November 1st?! :skeptic:

Top night had by all.

Shout out to all the usual faces. How far Sarf was that though?! I had a nosebleed!

Just call me David Bailey from now on, folks. I'm a whizz with a camera-phone!

Jack, your Dad's got Los Vikingos badges for you! Make sure he don't stick 'em on ebay!

Great night, even though I woke up this morning with a lousy Stella-induced hangover! :smoking:

Best bit of the night for me was shouting "COME ON!" during "Love Will Tear Us Apart", and Hooky pointing at me and grinning!

Good to meet up with you all again - we must do it again in August (when he'll be turning up at the same pub again)!

See most of you in Liverpool! :thumb:

No way!!

Yeah, me, Bonz, Al and Dave are still on it, we've all been complaining that we can't hear properly. I'm loud anyway but we've all been screaming at each other to be heard.

Al Jarvo has been for his first tattoo "THE VIKINGS", he was white going for it cos he's scared of needles but in the end he didn't cry.

Picture to follow!

Some cracking photies. Could anyone look happier getting their picture taken with Hooky than Jim Reilly Jim Reilly?

I'd just like to say that pub looks a right dive! I would love to make the next one in the same venue - we'll get Liverpool and Espana out the way first though and see how much of a bad mood me bank manager is in :uhoh:

   To Al "it didn't hurt a bit" Jarvis. If I take 8 grammes and sink a few lagers after work next Friday there may be another Viking Casualty.......remember to grab Wilson on Monday :thumb: :viking:
