Funny how things come round. I used to have that photo as a giant poster on my wall as a youth. Ithink it was taken about March 1980. Or early May?

had a quick look on some movie poster sites & nothing coming up yet, but that should be available to purchase quite cheaply once it's released

Would you say that was one of the classic Kevin Cummins pics, taken at T.J Davidson's rehearsal place? I think the title alludes to Ian trying to retain control of the parts of his life that were collapsing (his health as well as his crumbling marriage). One of the tragic ironies about his death is that they were due to depart for the US the very next day: arguably they were on the verge of possibly huge success.

We'll never know if it would've happened, Joy Division being the sort of band they were and America being the place it was then. Excellent and almost iconic image and a superb metaphor as well.
