NO Dreams

IIRC I don't think that this subject has come up recently, apologies if it has. Last night I had a dream that I was going to a NO gig with some friends, and outside the venue the members walked right by us! (i.e., original lineup with Gillian, probably wishful thinking on my subconscious's part.) I woke up before the actual performance started though.

So, what NO dreams have you all had? In another one, I was hanging out with them and introduced a friend of mine to them. (Symbolically, I ended up introducing her to the music later on.) I felt like a loser because I had Get Ready playing at the time (in the dream), and I doubted that they wanted to listen to themselves.

the dreams i can remember are ahm of a differnt nature.

One NO dream:

dreamt the were playing on the steps of St Georges Hall in Liverpool at nighttime - kinda looks like this

think i might have been drunk or something cos i climbed over all the equipment cos i wanted to shake Barneys hand. he didn't mind at first but i kept on coming up to him when he was playing. he told me to fook off a few times before they announced they were cancelled the gig due to me being a twat.

Woke up with a right smile on my face though

I have dreamt that I came onstage and played with them. That was freaky. Then I woke up. And felt like a tosser.

I can never remember my dreams, unless they invlove trains...

I have them whenever I re-immerse myself in books or go to gigs. Most of the dreams just deal with the run-of-the-mill going to a gig and seeing a great banterfilled show. Sometimes the period changes on me, like one night I'll dream of the band back in 84, and other times nowadays.

Only odd dream I ever had was one where I was a photographer and got to take a bunch of snaps - the sort of thing where I was put in the place of a Corbijn or Cummins kind of thing. Right location and right time.

Most vivid dream was my detailing the song The Him as a rehearsal-room music video (quite a lot of songs I reimagine as different music videos during dreams) and eventually wound up being written as a short fiction piece for college.

Only one or two other bands do I follow as closely, so with the group of them, that details my music related dreams.

Poor Julio... But you can still hope or pray or both...

I had a NO dream just a few nights ago! I ran into them at some festival and sat down with them to watch a show, and Bernard kept cracking jokes. I don't remember what the jokes were, but I was so nervous about being with my heroes I couldn't even laugh. So silly, because it was only a dream

... never end... :)

I dreamt they might actually release Turn...
