What's the story behind this track on the 24HPP cd?
Sounds nothing like New Order to me - were the rest of Moby's band drowning them out?

I remember Moby saying in Mojo that he had to teach Barney and Hooky to play it.
Barney on guitar, Steve on congas I think (you can hear him slapping away just before the guitars begin). From one of the Area 51 gigs Moby put on in the States around 2001ish.
Not sure if Mr Hook was on bass, he probably was but as you say drowned out by Moby's henchmen.
I remember thinking of the 24 HPP soundtrack when it came out, why've they included this? The original NDF would've been far superior. Moby may be a loyal NO fan but he's got fcuk all to do with the Factory story 
He messes with some of the lyrics too 
I was there. Last night the Order were on the Area:1 tour. Must've been about 15 people on stage. All Moby's lot. Gillian even had her sister Kim on stage with her as well.
Rather forgettable, though I've got some nice photos which won't let me forget.
think it came about after ahw realised that it was ndf playing when he watched the michael mann film "heat"
