I must say, this is one of the best remixes of a New Order song in AGES...
Finally someone who understand what a remix is, not a dubby cheap remix without any original lyrics in it.

Too right Nick ! Without the 'poppy' chorus it's got a nice dark edge to it. Bet it sounds great in a club. I'd say it is up there with the Lee Coombes mix of Crystal, keeping the original spirit of the song but taking it a stage further. Good stuff!
Didn't particularly like this remix the first time I heard it, but after a few plays, it certainly grows on ye
Lee Coombs version of Crystal is certainly fantastic when heard in a club - Would certainly like to hear HTS remix in a club;) But finding a DJ who has it - is usually the biggest problemo!
You should listen to Felix's cd : Kittenz and The Glitz.
It has a definate Kraftwerk influence on it. He works with a lady named Miss Kitten. She is pretty cool too. The cd is old school synth trance stuff. You can tell he was also influenced by New Order. The remix is very very nice. Better than the Scumfrog Dub. Hey and guess what, it's up on Audio Galaxy. Cannot wait to get the cd though!

I downloaded it from AG and when it was done, it ended up being 26 minutes long. and the dub was 36 minutes. It was weird because on AG is said it was only 8 minutes. I dont know how the person did that. Anyways the person did a good editing job with it. I'm going to try again and get the real copy. But so far I like it
Indeed...i never thought i'd say this about a remix from the GetReady-era, but this one ist GREAT !!! Very trancy, nice synthsounds and good atmosphere.

One thing though, I don't like it that felix da cat left out the "Like a bright light, on the horizon" part. I love those lyrics, but he made it so that you can sing it yourself.
By the way, I was playing this song in my car the other day and the person next to me asked me who i was playing, because he worked at the local dance-radio station. He thought that it sounded like new order, but he wasn't sure. He told me that he would get that song some major airplay!!!!! The radio station is 92.7/5 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. They play awesome music!
