Just got back from the Factory records book launch at the Urbis museum in Manchester.

A great event with speakers Peter Saville,Tony Wilson,Trevor Johnson(designer),Matt Carroll (Happy mondays sleeve designer) and the author of the book Matthew Robertson.

The talk covered some of the sleeve designs and how they got the ideas and inspirations. It lasted about 2 hours and was a bargain £3 entrance fee.

Also sitting in the audience were Deborah Curtis,Vini Reilly, and members of ACR.

The panel stayed behind and signed books and posters for everyone and were very friendly and nice.

I asked Peter Saville if he had designed any covers for Neworder recently and he said nothing since WFTSC single and has nothing planned.

I'm so happy!!

He signed my fine time and round and round (and apparently giggled when he saw I bought fine time at Oxfam haha) and tony signed my copy of 24hpp (book)

Of course I was in the states at the time, but it's still ace.

It'd have been so much better if I stuck around for another week or 50
