is it me or did NO fucked up the song shadowplay, bernard as always is all over the fucking place, i know its his imo to fk up most of the no and jd songs live. he is playing it to slow, he could bearly sing out the lyrics. hookys bass is low. then again may its different when you hear it live at the venue. anyways its just me opinion.... :blush:

^^ agreed. they can play it however they hell they want to play it, with as many "c'mons" in place of all the lyrics if they like. everyone on this board will still go no matter what.

It worked for me at Liverpool, as did '24 Hours'. Powerful parts of a powerful set I thought. I appreciate the fact that Bernard sings like Bernard and doesn't try to do 'Ian', that would be much worse.

I disagree. I loved New Order version of Shadowplay The only thing that does NOT match is Bernard saying UH after- as the assassins all grouped in four lines, dancing on the floor-UHH :scratch:

It's gone groovy. It's NOT a groovy tune.

I blame barney for strumming like a busker all the way through it, he never used to. Might not be down to him, but I like to blame him whenever possible. Funny enough, they actually do it OK, if only the "feel" wasn't so off whack.
