An Ideal For Living reissued?

When did this happen?

...when some twats decided to bootleg it along with all the dodgy Ideal For Living 7" bootlegs that have sprung up recently (white vinyl, pic discs etc).

And I shall look for it to make it as an addition to my collection!

Thinkin of geting a copy,must beat paying £1000 for an original!

i've never seen an original - that's the same cover isn't it?

Who took the photo for it, was it Bernard using his arty flair again?

appreciating that this is blatant rip off...

I've got one on order paid 9.99 US (so mabe six quid given GWB's mortgaging of the US economy). To my mind it can't be seen as alternative to an original - which I know I'll never own of course - but something different. I have all the tracks afterall. Will report in what its 'like' when it arrives.

And there is a spate of 'reissues' that seem to be about on 'limited' releases at the moment (there is a DM Clean picture disc and a LWTUA one too). They seem to be emanating form the US but I'm not sure of their quality/legality/origin/motivation.

oh dear, i once had the opportunity to buy an ideal for living ep at a shop in blackpool that used to sell collectors records ect. it was back in 80-81 and he wanted £12 for it,i said "TWELVE QUID, TWELVE FUKIN QUID" thats a quid an inch m8 you can fuck off. and do you know im stil as thick now.

I bought a copy a few weeks ago. sound quality good, artwork good, white vinyl very nice, very professional. shame about the songs.................

Yeah, same cover as the original.

Nothing to do with Bernard though.

It's actually shades of grey. The sepia brown is just the dodgy lighting in the photos.
