Ok so Temptation is one of my fave New Order tunes, no doubt about it.

This version is my absolute favourite version of the song, no idea why, it's just class in my opinion.

It's live, I have no idea what gig it is from or what year it is from, but it's just quality.

So I decided to share it with you guys... Some of you hardcore Vikings may have heard it (?) and if so please tell me where it's from!

Yeah, they can't use the usual excuse that Barney can't sing it anymore on that one! While you're at it Jack, put in a call for Let's Go as well - no words to stick in the autocue! :evil4:

I think I'm gonna send him an email with a link to the "What do you want played in October" thread.

Do that! I've just added a little assessment of which songs would need key changes to enable Bernard to sing them, which would need parts sequencing etc.

The pre-Temptation banter at Reading '98 went something like this:

Barney (to crowd): "You know what I said about the free bar before? I was joking y'know!"

Hooky (to Barney): "Oh you've alienated the audience now Barn, what are we gonna do? Anyway... [Temptation starts] that's what we're gonna do!"

Nice one, i had wondered what the missing part of the dialogue was, even though i was there, i couldnt remember.

Dreams Never End would make my day too!

I'm sure they'll be eternally grateful that someone's told them how they can play their own songs...

For the fans, so they can work out whether they are wasting their time asking for something that ain't ever gonna happen......but you already knew that.......

And mine is LA Florentine Gardens also in 83, hot on the heels of one of the best Chosen Time's and not a half bad Age of Consent either... Was going to post it but a certain six year old appears to have taped over it ffs :banghead:

Good show, Florentine Gardens. One of those nights where it clicked.

Aye,probably...

That gig was actually what inspired me to first post on NOOL. Got the gig on CD from someone on here, with some swaps:thumb: Thing is, all the stage chit-chat was edited out,and only the songs from the gig were on it..So I never did find out what the EXACT retort was:scratch: My mate and me brother both say it was as above,so I'll go with that:nod:

I still want Dreams Never End tho:nod: and Sunrise, and AOC:thumb:
