Anyone know if New Order have done this song live & if so at which gigs. Thanks in advance.

They've definitely done it (as you probably noticed it was on the multi/media section) fuck knows where they played it though......Mr Zizou Zidane will probably be yer best bet fer an answer to this one;)

go to www.new-order.net and i think you may find some gig infomation on it and they have the cover in mp3 format.

Is it not actually New Order per se, is it?

They played it at the Greek Theatre, Berkeley, California, on 19th September 1987 as the second encore - I think it was the last night of the US tour. This was a full band version.

Prior to that, they had played the riff at Denver Red Rocks a week or so before, when they had amp trouble and couldn't do the expected set after the 7th number. It was only a few seconds of the riff though and not a full-blown version.
