I came across a Factory Records DVD Compilation with some rare stuff that is clearly a bootleg for sale, but i'm curious if anyone has a copy and if it's decent quality, it's got some cool rare stuff from a lot of Factory Bands. I realize it's taken from old videos, but i'm wondering if the sound/video is decent quality etc....Thanks It covers: A Factory Video [Fact 56] - 1982 Compilation Video Factory Shorts [Fact 137] - June 1985 Compilation Video A Factory Outing 51 - 71 [Fact 71],October 1983 Compilation Video Live from The Hacienda Club Fac51,Palatine [Fact 400v] - December 1991 Unreleased Compilation Video,Factory in Store Video [Fact 180/1],Promo Footage from the Unreleased 1987 Compilation Video.

the vids are video rips off 20+ year old vhs tape, so you can imagine the quality of it. not that great. there's no copy protection on it. :ignore:

this is a double dvd right?

Yeah, the one I saw was a Double DVD. Thanks for the info.

I'm pretty sure the sound on that bootleg is only through one channel.

If you're interested you can get legitimate re-issues of Shorts, A Factory Video and A Factory Outing HERE

Somebody sent me this double DVD - loads of hard work went into it and is a must have for any collection.

Clive is right though, the sound is low on the DVD's.

And to whoever sent me the DVD's - send me an email :thumb:

"A Factory Complication" - I contacted Screenedge to enquire whether or not that would get a reissue and they said that they weren't able to get the publishing rights (it was a Factory Benelux release originally).

The Everythings Gone Green footage (in all it's 11-minutes plus magnificence) is on the Umbrellas In The Sun DVD on LTM. LINK
