Muchas gracias for this. :)

"Barney" playing a white Shergold? Maybe they know something we don't or "The Accuracy Police" will have some work to do, given that they've been trying to get the details right when filming this. ;)

Besides that I cannot imagine Ian first wrote down the title of a possible new song and then started writing the lyrics...

Last time I was on set, "Ian" had a fit at the end of "Dead SOulds" and when the song finished "Barney" ambles up to the mike and says "We're Joy Division, you're the audience, goodnight, God bless!". The bootleg anoraks will have to confirm/deny the accuracy of this (it sounds more like a an homage to the Reading 98 gig to me), but I suspect there will be a lot of "innacuracies" of this sort.

Don't worry, next time when there's more (and I presume there will be, as Anton is Dutch) I will record it and post it probably here again. :thumb:

Since Anton and Control is receiving media attention, they play Joy Division daily on the radio! When will Anton Corbijn or Paul Verhoeven make a movie about New Order, they finally will play them again on Radio3 or any other commercial station...

No such dialogue on any actual bootlegs. Would be much funnier if they'd stuck to the actual banter from, say, the end of the April 4 1980 Moonlight gig after Ian's been trucked offstage and they barrel through "Interzone."

Barney(or Tony?): That's about it then. Punter: Fuck off. Barney: You fook off. No one's coming back on, it's too late now. So...you can all go home...[???]...it's late.

Now where's my damn anorak?

Hi Mari uut Grunn!

Interesting clip, thank you.

That was interesting.

Corbjin invested half the budget himself... gee, that's a shocker though... we now officially know why the movie is going on and where they found the money to start the shooting.

i think that would consider him the biggest Joy Division fan ever, bigger than "Vikings" just kidding. in a serious note, that is very amicable of him. we should all watch it 10X so he can make his money back :evil4:

Didn't he finance the Atmosphere video also by himself? :confused2:

I have to admit, despite being a fan of Corbijn, when I saw the actors' photos weeks ago, I was bummed.

But, now with this Dutch video, seeing some of the footage, seeing what a perfectionist Corbijn is, with such attention even to matching color tones just right, I am very interested. What an eye that guy has!

I did a double-take of the Corbijn LWTUA video resurrection... they look eerily like the original, ...

I was worried this was gonna be like 24HPP, where nobody looked or behaved like their originals... (I thought they destroyed Wilson and Curtis.... dumbed them down into one or two dimensions... I am pretty sure Ian Curtis smiled in his lifetime... )

plus, didn't Corbijn do a video or two in the past? They said he has never directed before, but I swear he did (atmosphere?)

?

looking excellent at this point... I wonder when it will be released???

Didn't they say in the interview the movie would be in black and white?

Yep, I think so... so it's a bit strange Anton Corbijn is copying the "exact colours" then... :confused2:

Yes, you're right. But this is his first movie, not a promotional music video. This time he didn't "write" the script himself - the story was already there... more people involved (cast)... so I guess a lot of differences comparing directing music videos.
