Changes all the time, this week its "Vanishing Point"... been singing it all week driving in my car...

"My life ain't no holiday I've been through the point of no return I've seen what a man can do I've seen all the hate of a woman too"

As Stevie Boy knows, I LOVE the chorus to paradise " I want you I want you , I need you I need you"...but thats a hormonal thing...

LIke i said, changes all the time, Love the chorus to HTS at the moment too, its really uplifting, summery and generally puts me in a good mood!

Rolls of your tongue like a Queen Mother Joke :evil3: :

"It takes years to find the nerve To be apart from what you've done To find the truth inside yourself And not depend on anyone"

I agree on 'up down turn around' ... But the chorus for Bizzare Love Triangle is up there

'Everytime I see you falling I get down on my knees and prey'

Yeah - "BLT" is a corker! But what's this about "preying" Brendan?!?!?!?! Ready to pounce on mice or something???!

The song was released before the final week of The Scottish football season in 1986, Celtic needed to beat St Mirren by 4 clear goals, and hope that Hearts would get beat by a goal to Dundee.....Hence the lyrics "Every time I see you falling, I get down on my knees and pray" Barney is obviously a Celtic supporter - and he was praying to the big guy up the stairs that Hearts would fall:nod: Celtic beat St Mirren 5-0 at Love Street, while Hearts got beat 2-0 by Dundee (Albert Kidd scored both - may God be shining on you still Alberto;) ) Hence Celtic winning the league title:jump:

How's about that then;)

Yeah? Do tell! was it a good win? I'm just curious. All my family won last year - INCREDIBLY ENOUGH!! (That's my three sisters, and mum and dad! Once in a lfetime occurrence I can tell you) .....Myself? Don't gamble. So add that to my don't drink and don't smoke ethic and I'm the cleanest purest guy around... :D :D

To bring things back on track, gotta agree with BLT but recently really love the chorus of Spooky

We can break every rule ......

Today, and for the last week, I've been singing Age of Consent and Run. "What do you want me to believe?"

"...Heaven knows it's got to be this time.." Case closed.

And in a non-NO song, the best chorus by far is from Fugazi's 'Great Cop' : "YOU'D MAKE A GREAT COP, YOU PIIIIIIIIG!!!!!!!!!!!" Md

Hands down...Special

It isn't what it use to be...

...it was like water down the drain...

...catch a life before you start on mine...

...The traces of your memory don't belong with mine...

For me Technique is outstandingly catchy in the chorus department.

Vanishing Point

"My life ain't no holiday I've been through the point of no return I've seen what a man can do I've seen all the hate of a woman too"

Mr Disco

"I can't find my piece of mind Because I need you with me all of the time I used to think about you night and day I didn't care what other people would say No I can't find my piece of mind without you"

R&R

"The picture you see is no portrait of me It's surreal to be shown to someone I don't know And it's driving me wild, makes me act like a child"

. :) .

"It takes years to find the nerve..." etc.

yea Major, was gonna include that as well!! also Love Less..., but was in danger of listing every chorus on the Technique album :) (ermm except Fine Time perhaps!!) ;)

Technique is the best album they have done... just wish 'the happy one' had been included.

I get down on my knees and PRAY !!!Thats better .. My only excuse for using the wrong spelling is that I don't often pray !! Is that a good enough excuse ?

But that one line is the only reason for liking or listening to the song.......

No, not at all, the whole instrumental has a warming soft feel to it and the vocals just add to what is a great NO experiance. Of course the line from the chorus stands out, but the song has excellent lyrics throughout :)
