Are NO set in their ways?

With Get Ready and WFTSC, it seems that NO have begun to churn out albums that are easily identifable as 'NO albums.' All the trademarks are there, and it feels like they're unwilling to experiment, while others from the post punk period, like Killing Joke and Gary Numan, have altered their styles over the past 25 years.

I'm not suggesting that this is a bad thing, but would you like to see them try something a little different next time round?

Whats left to try that hasn't been already done?

Id like them to do another 8mins + single. Things havent been the same since Factory. Is that down to New Order or the major record label? Cant stand this singles format they`ve had since Republic.

Thats what i meant by the format. This "take 3 singles from the albums and pad them out with remixes" attitude is so lazy. Theyd be better fucking off to a small label-Warners cant complain-theyve had half a dozen Best Of`s in 13 years.

Each and every New Order album has it's own "flavour", in my opinion, but they still sound like "New Order" no matter what they do. I don't exactly know what you mean by "experimenting" or whatever, but as long as they still sound like New Order, whatever song they create, I'm fine.

I couldn't give a toss if they're stuck in thier ways, just get the album out that was promissed, lazy fuckers only live about half an hour apart and still can't get together to write songs, hard life djing is it?.....
