Lately I've been expanding my vinyl collection, so I decided to go up to the local record store today for a browse. I rarely find anything around here, but today I guess I lucked out:

True Faith 12" The Perfect Kiss 12" Technique

and my fav.

Love WIll Tear Us Apart 12" (pristine shape)

Someone must've unloaded their collection, because the place had a cache of excellent 80's dance singles. Lucky me.

Last week on eBay, I bought a lot of 8 CD singles for 8 quids here

And God knows why I bidded on that one, but I scored a Run 2 for 2 quids here

Don't get me wrong, I already have all those... though many UK and US editions I didn't have. I was happy to get a 1963 box without defect since mine is broken, and for Run 2, I was never expecting to win that auction, I bid just in case !

Sometimes you can make good deals on eBay!

That's a bargain on the Run2. I saw that for £25 in a record shop in Manchester!

Well, I paid that for the one I own... I never expected it to go so low ;)

I bought a stack of 7", 12" and LPs for about £100 a while ago. Bloody bargain - original Blue Monday with cutouts, immaculate Run 2, several versions of Ceremony, all the albums - gorgeous! I'm going to frame some of them I think. Either that or buy a record player!

The best thing about the deal was that Missy Jem phoned me up and called me a bastard for beating her to it :love2:

I hate people that can't spell lose. :/

And yeah, Power, Corruption and Lies for £3 from the record shop.

Well I was not as lucky today and everyone else has been, but I was able to pick up Brotherhood and Low-Life at a local used CD store.

This now just leaves me getting Movement as the only studio album that I'm missing. Still have to get some of the compliation CD's, but I can't complain too much since I only started buying the New Order CD's in May of this year :)

I managed to get a near mint Run2 on eBay a while ago for a fiver to 'back up' my original used and abused copy... Having sai that it took about 6 months of looking and bidding to get one without paying silly money... As Col said, you snooze, you lo(o)se...
