Stupid question, but whatever happened to the third incarnation of Factory Records? How did Wilson get from Factory Too to F4?

I have an additional question. Has anyone actually bought anything from Factory Too, 3 or 4? Is any of it any good?

I'm curious because the original factory stuff people are quite obsessive about and it seems collectable, while the Factory 2-4 stuff seems to never get noticed. Nobody seems to care...

Well, Mr. Reilly is still associated with the later Factories, so it can't be ALL bad.

I was checking out downloads on the F4 website and they just lead to a generic clearinghouse webpage.

Agreed... The best thing 'Factory' did post collapse was the DC reissues... Everything else has just been style over substance, with less substance than the original Factory ever had...

"Too young to know,too wild to care".I'm sure this Factory compilation is a Factory Too product.This cd is also supposed to be the Factory story part one,does anyone have part two.I doubt that it exists.

Has anyone seen this interview with Wilson yet? I imagine it's been posted here before, but thought I'd make sure.

I've got "The Factory Story Part two - Different colours, different shades". Unlike Volume 1 (best of Palatine i.m.o.) this has some more obscure tracks on it by Karl Denver or Quando Quango or Abecedarians. Worth seeking out.
