Will I ever get to see the band on an actual US tour? The closest I've been was in Houston, TX when they were at Astroworld(which is now closed).

Will New Order ever tour the US??? Or am I just out of luck???

hmmm...Houston...astroworld...that would have been 1989...
let's see, there were the gigs in 93...10 of them I think, may have only been 8, but either way...they were here...oh wait, one of those shows was in Canada, so reduce the number by one...
then in 2001, they did four shows up on the west coast...
2005, four shows again, two in California, one in Chicago and one in New York...
Sorry if you couldn't be bothered to make your way to any of those, so don't hold your breath for them to pander to your needs by playing 35 cities across North America...

Where were you last year when they toured in the US?
In No mans Land (Idaho) Ugh!!! Yes, Stinking Idaho. Where did they go(Tour)? I was going to go to Cochella, but couldn't make it. The show in Houston(hometown) was on APR 20 , 88 I believe cause it was on my B-Day. And yes, I do REGRET not making it to a show, but if I ever get near them again, I won't miss them.

Fill the Gremlin up with a tank of gas and see the rest of the state. Might be something around here that can compete with the beautiful landscape that is Texas.
I gave up on waiting for them to come to me. So I'm just gonna go to South America in November.

They have been to Oakland, Coachella, Chicago and New York.
Not a full scale tour, but you can't blame them for cashing in on the past like so many other bands.
You have to cease the day when they tour, otherwise you won't see them. And I know, I kept waiting in 2001-2002 for an east coast gig and there were none!

They were in Canada in 2001... but about 6000 km from where I live :p

That's wise! I actually do not expect them to come to America or Japan for a while, so it is the fastest way if we just fly to England! (But of course...still waiting to see them either here or in Japan.)
