Indeed, best song since Technique?

I know it's personal opinion but I don't think Technique has anything to offer that could match Regret or Crystal in a month of Sundays.

I agree completely--I love Technique, but don't consider it the best NO ever did (which says more about how much I like the other stuff than how little I like technique). I was totally blown away by both Crystal and Regret. Technique may be the most consistently strong album NO has done, but the bright spots from some of the later albums are, for me, better anything off of Technique. I would put Crystal, Regret, and WFTSC in that category.

I'm torn among Crystal, Out of Control, WFTSC, Turn, Here to Stay, and Regret. But I picked WFTSC because of the lyrics.

Out of Control wins here.

I couldn't agree more - it's a work of genius. Best number one ever by a long, long way.

Here to Stay

No doubt about it.

Some tough choices here including Here to Stay, WDYWFM, and Regret, but I had to go with Crystal. It was the first single back together, after the well, brutal Brutal. Crystal had everything in it - the ryhthm of JD and the majestry of NO. It is my favorite live song of the last 15 years - it blows the roof off everything else they recorded starting with Republic.

At this moment it's Junk. Would've been Tasty Fish yesterday though.

I think you may have given Warners an idea for the next 'best of':evil4:

I went for Crystal fine body of work there, isnt it?

THANK YOU!!

I think the band missed a huge opportunity by not releasing that as a single. Easily one of the catchiest, most fun things they've done.

Regret. Still many almost as good: Crystal, Here to Stay, WFTSC, Twisted Tenderness

Obviously not one of Nicolas's favourites :)

Regret is a great pure Pop song-

"What Do You Want From Me" was a surprise. A lot of swore NO might never return and here comes Hooky with well crafted NO-like pop.

Crystal and Turn I love so much cause I will contantly hit "REPEAT" when I listen to those CDs

i have some by Electronic, a couple from Revenge, 1 or 2 from Monaco... but for me Crystal, WFTSC, Turn and Regret are the ones. i chose Regret because it also has one of the best remixes i´ve ever heard, the Fire Island Mix. :thumb:

Here to Stay by a whisker from Regret, followed by Crystal, What do you want from me and Out of Control.

Well put El Jarvo. Voted for Here to Stay but Crystal was an extremely close second.
