Isn't it about time VH1 did a "Behind the Music" episode on New Order/Joy Division? The bands that have been on lately are not even in the same league, nor have they had the influence on other groups that New Order has.

Er, wasn't that the MTV thing they were on about 3 weeks ago?

Trainspotter'ish and ultimately boring programme with Hooky and Steve talking about their influences?

that wasn't a BEHIND THE MUSIC the other week, that was UNDER THE INFULENCE!!!!!. Behind the Music is like a documentary of the history of a band, personal lives etc are involved and normally bits of music too. The best one I saw was the one for Duran Duran a few years back, oh, and the one for the Police was pretty good too. These programmes are made by VH1 America though, so its their call.

Didn't we already do this already?

Any rate, welcome to the forum

As for my opinion....it would be far classier for them to be on "VH1 Legends"....

behind the music is american...so i bet new order has to presently reach the stature of depeche mode or the cranberries as an international band to qualify for a show.
