I've just seen the film and really enjoyed it. The first half of the film is just brilliant when it is about Joy Division and the late singer Ian Curtis. The rest of the film is about the Happy Mondays which is very funny in parts. I thought the parts where they recreated Joy Division concerts was really intense as the guy who plays Ian Curtis looks like him and does the live act really well. The music in the film is great and it is well worth seeing, especially if you want an idea just how powerfull Joy Divisions music was. Fucking brilliant, go see it!

Yeah according to http://www.bbc.co.uk/films/ it's the number 10 movie in the UK as well... not bad I'd say.
