In my seemingly never-ending search for the ultimate 1989 set, this one is the best so far. They shook up the set list a little, and the sound is fantastic.

nice. simply aces Temptation recording from 89. Think it was a UK festival.
Damn. It sounds great but for some reason Mr. Disco, All the Way, Temptation, All Day Long, and Fine Time didn't work.

I think its a great playlist but Barney sounds like his playing guitar to the wrong song most of the time. Perfect Kiss is a prime example. And his singing is dreadful. As this was part of that fatal tour, I can only put this down to Barney not being at his best.

On the other hand, this below is a superb quality of this gig.

P.S.: Here is a part of the original liner nots from those days : If any New Order bootleg/live tape was ready for immediate official release as the "official" live album, this would be a top candidate sound quality-wise. If there are better-sounding soundboards of them prior to the Get Ready era, I've not heard them.
This bootleg is fantastic, and I love Barneys sarky comments to the crowd. 'All Day Long' is great.

I'd host it myself but I have crappy upstream.
This gig is one of the most quality recorded one and should not be decoded into mp3.
The link above only is an example of what can be possible in terms of quality. To get the result of this quality is to weed the gig, and not to post him (lossy !).
So we can make a weed (an exchange) of what we have, mail me to specify that.

This gig was dedicated to Pete De Freitas..(Echo & Bunnymen) who had died the day before, whom i am off to Liverpool to see on friday.
I just found this on torrentbox.com in FLAC format. I'm assuming this is a proper source as it's in stereo and sounds fantastic.
Anybody else wants this, I'll be seeding for a while.
