These two cdv's are still going for a song, but which copy is the rarest/hardest to find?

Seems that the TF cdv appears quite regularly on ebay but the bm one doesnt appear that much, have i already got the answer to my question?

What do yor lot think?

I'd say BM88, Steve.

As you said the TF continually pops up on eBay and goes for less than £25/30 these days. A couple of years ago they used to go for around £50 guaranteed.

It's also got that slightly different 7" mix (track 3) which you can't really get anywhere else.

Haven't seen many BM88's on eBay lately but I saw a TF just the other day.

Chuffed to bits with both of mine  I've often wondered how much you'd make if you sold them as a pair in a single auction. Would never sell though, unless the bills really were stacking up.

Wow, the 7" Version of the BM-Video CD is different? I never noticed...call me ignorant :) I once ordered the BM CD-Single at a shop and they sent the Video-CD instead by accident...call me jammy bastard :evil4: The only difference I've noticed so far is the Dub Version of BM 88. But great to know it's rare. How much is it worth, anyway (I won't offer it though!)

Yep, the main difference with the CDV 7" is after the intro vocoder finishes stuttering "Fe-e-e-e-el" the subsequent bassline, drum pattern and background effects are slightly different to the more commonly heard BM88 (on The Best Of, Singles etc).

Has to be said that the mastering on the CDV is shite; low levelling and at least a full beat chopped off the intro to the Dub and the (alternate) 7". A better sounding source for the Dub is the US 3 track promo CD but the alternate 7" isn't available anywhere else to date.

So yes, you've definitely got yourself a rarity! :thumb:
