E17 Brian Harvey Bankrupt
Former East 17 star Brian Harvey has gone bankrupt - even though he earned around £1.3m during his heady days as a chart-topper.
The Eastender lived life in the fast lane when he was raking it in as a singer in one of the country's top bands.
But the star has been down on his luck since being sacked from the band for taking the drug Ecstasy.
Admitting he's lost his fortune, Harvey is blaming his estranged wife Natasha Goldman for the decision to go bankrupt.
She is taking him to the High Court for cash to support their four-year-old child Tegan.
He told the Mirror: "Natasha has taken me to the High Court, that's all I'm prepared to say.
"I can't tell you about the case. But I'm bankrupt - I've got no money."
Money worries are not the only thing that have left Harvey with a headache.
He suffered severe head injuries after being attacked by machete-wielding thugs outside The Works nightclub in Nottingham.
The singer was left with a six-inch hole in his head.
And to rub salt into the wounds, his new singing career has nose-dived.
A source said: "Brian is very depressed. His luck has run out. He's penniless and, ironically, is living in Walthanstow, E17.
"He really wants people to stand up and listen to his new music but no one is interested in him anymore.
"Filing for bankruptcy is the final straw for him."
