BOLLOCKS TO THAT NOTION!!! WHAT A CACK IDEA TO START WITH!!! NEW ORDER DESERVE TO HAVE A NUMBER 1 WITH THEIR CURRENT SINGLE - IF THAT HASN'T ALREADY PASSED EVERYONE BY.....grrrrrrr. :mad2:

It's always BlueFookingMonday or WorldInFookingMotion or True Faith that people seem to keep wanting to update every five years in't it??

Hell yes, go for it.

  1. I hate it.
  2. But in the U.S., I'll never hear it.
  3. It's the perfect single -- it doesn't fit on an album but appeals to all sorts of people who'd never in a million years seek out a New Order LP (which should trigger nightmares in anyone who's ever worked in a record store).
  4. If it sells, it's leverge for the band to use against the record company.
  5. Barney can use the money for breast reduction/a U.S. tour.

 well done! but with #5, are you saying that the proposed US tour would equate with breast reduction? do you mean to say you expect poor ickle Barney to drag the tour van around the US by himself?

no way they'd come here, if that's the case! although... :evil2:

*cracks whip* mush.

No way, there isn't even enough time to release that. Perhaps if someone can able to postpone the World Cup to December... Who knows?

Bring it back - to piss Shug off if nothing else...

p.s. you gotta be worried when your boss (Bertie Vogts) is 'delighted' after losing 2-1 at home to Nigeria

I bet they do sing it at Finsbury cause we'll be in the grip of World Cup fever right about then so it will probably get a euphoric reaction!!

Reality Check : It'll be game over by Finsbury fellas.... King Henrik's last gasp winner in the opening game followed by a right royal humping by the Argies kinda makes playing WIM a bit irrelevant don't ya think!!!

I am a bit worried I've got to admit. Nigeria looked a bit tasty last night too-though they were playing substandard opposition obviously

Chill, u know we'll take it down to the last game and go out on some shitty off key penalty decision or moody offside goal.

If we do by miracles squeeze thru on goal difference i'll stake serious amounts of cash we'll go soaring straight out in a penalty shoot out!!!!!!!!!

World in motion is still the best world cup song ever released. Yep it should be updated to the current team.

OK, here's the compromise. Lure Barney into the studio with some ecstasy or a pizza and have him sing the "puh" sound...digitally edit that in so the lyric is "Here to Play." Tack on some rap by what's his name football goon and boom! New Order has the number one hit single they deserve, and millions of football fans who don't even own CD players buy some ode to drugs because they thought it was a football fight song.

Geez, Mr. Spotnick...when are you going to add a smiley of a huge, throbbing, ehrm, brain for my exclusive use? Damn.

 Not listening, not listening.......;) Great opening 25 minutes for Scotland:nod: They actually looked good, you've gotta remember we had a team of weans on the pitch! only 2 over 30 - The rest under 25's - couple of good performances - Kevin McNaughton (Aberdeen) Crainey (Celtic - minus his hiccup for the opener) Douglas (Celtic) Stockdale (Boro) Stewart (Man U) given they had a few quality players absent - Hutchison, Burley, Ferguson (Yes a Rangers player;) ) I thought they done us proud. Bring on the English:spit:

I agree WIM is the best world cup song ever and the fact NO dont take themselves seriously enough to record it in the first place is damn fine.

Nominations for recording a Scottish World cup theme:-

  1. Deacon Blue
  2. Run Rig
  3. Proclaimers
  4. Big Country

Is there a parallel here between the Quality of Music a Nation Produces and the Greatness of their Football Team.

Is this a bad time to mention Euro 96

COME ON ENGLAND !!
