In 2006 the Killers might be considered some kind of original, inspired band - but that's only compared to the rest of the music of 2006. They're nothing special.

I personally can't stand the Killers but if it sells more records and gets people to watch the movie and get into JD... then I suppose that'll benefit New Order. So.. a little pain for a lot of gain. New Order deserve the money.. even if it means a suckass band like the Killers bring attention to their work.
