No-one seemed to notice when i said they were covering Shadowplay

'Initially they wanted a chic, gypsy look,' says Corbijn, who also made the video for Hot Fuss's 'All These Things That I've Done' and asked the Killers to cover Joy Division's 'Shadowplay' for his upcoming Ian Curtis biopic Control. 'Out of those discussions [for the sleeve] came these elements of faded glory.'

The Killers have recorded a version of Joy Division's 'Shadowplay' for an upcoming Ian Curtis biopic.
Dutchman Anton Corbijn's Control is the first such production of Curtis' life, and is co-produced by the ex-punk's wife Deborah, and based on her book 'Touching From A Distance.' The title is derived from Curtis' own composition 'She's Lost Control,' generally interpreted as a commentary on his own life.
The soundtrack is said to be recorded by the remaining members of Joy Division (now of New Order) under the title Joy Division, but The Killers were invited to contribute the cover as a personal favour to the director, who previously worked with the band on the video for single 'All These Things That I've Done.'
The track is already available as a digital download with selected copies of The Killers' latest release Sam's Town.
