Kimberly, we on the neworderonline forum don't like to make it a habit to recommend music to other people.

Originally posted by Kimberly Raymond-Jensen Hey Janaki, I have an extra copy of Tricky's Pre-Millenium Tension if you want it! I worked at a record store and got a TON of free stuff, so being the Tricky fan that I am, I grabbed a CD for me and my hubby(we weren't married then-but we are married now and don't need two copies!) E-mail me if you want it! My address is on my profile!Curve, what more can I say? I just think that Toni Halliday has the most amazing and beautiful voice! I am anxiously awaiting their next album! It is SUPPOSED to be out by June! GIFT their last album was just awesome! Anyone heard it? Toni is a total hottie too! Toni and Tricky should collaborate on a song that would rule! :thumb: MBV, always wrote the most interesting songs. My ex gave me the album LOVELESS, and I was hooked. I was very sad when they broke up. I do like their little side project Snowpony, but I have not been able to listen to it lately since I lost the "In slow Motion" CD ( I think that is the title) and have no idea where the damn thing is  Kevin Shields also played on a few songs off of GIFT!The only Laika album that I have is "Sounds of the Satellites"! That CD was in heavy rotation when I worked at the record store!:shine: Man, I need to go buy some new music! Anyone got any recommendations?

Got to say this Kim - but "Open Day At The Hate Fest" - even though it isn't an OFFICIAL Curve album as such - is starting to overtake "Cuckoo" as my fave Curve recording - It's hardly off my CD player of late!! YOWSA!!

Toni Halliday - now what a siren!! ;) Second only to the divine Siouxsie Sioux as the ultimate Ice Cool Queen of Smouldering Darkness (ha ha ha - fook me am I being pretentious here or what??!! )

Kim, my two faves (tying for the same place) have got to be tracks 5 and 6 : "You Don't Know" and "Backwards Glance", though having said that the title track has that unbelievably hypnotic repetitive spooky bass synth line that I just cannot get out of my head - damn it, it's SO naggingly catchy!!! :) :)

i rather like "Open Day at the Hate Fest," simply cos it's got that off-kilter groove to it that just seems so off-the-cuff. and a lot different than a lot of other Curve. though there's better songs on here, this song is amusing me a lot lately.

You both need to listen to "Worst Mistake" MP3 on their site. Unfortunately this song will not be on their new album and I haven't found any singles or albums that it was on! Maybe, just maybe they will slip that one on some of their new singles :) A girl can only hope. Right now it is my favorite Curve song! I must find it!!!!!!!
