Is there any freebass songs to buy or download yet or know if there is any being released soon

At least the NO innovative spirit has passed over into FREEBASS- The first release of a new supergroup is the theme tune to a show! Surely this is yet another NO related 1st!!!

I wish Peter would put all his JD/NO bass lines into sheet music and publish it. Especially JD songs. That would be so awesome....

Listen to the records and work them out yerself - that's the way Hooky would have done it if he was playing someone else's music! Think in terms of up and down the fretboard rather than across, it's much easier!

Thats the beauty of NO/JD's music. Alot of it is so simple to play. Most songs are in one of 2 keys and so its just a case of knowing which and messing about with the pentatonic(?) scale. Just never use a wah-wah, bluesy slidy thing, or use more that one string for guitar solos.

I do that all the time, listening to the songs. I'm just used to having more structured shit to read from and learn than just always doing it by ear. I mean I'll never play like him because I have my own style- it was an idea more than anything else,makes it a lot easier to learn if you actually know what the hell is being played through all the guitar playing and miscellaneous sounds mixed in with it. If you can figure out "Glass" then I applaud you on that one. I've seen two different versions of that song tabbed by people and they both suck. The search continues....
