Yup, Crystal probably originated as an Electronic song.
At the very least shows Barney had been playing around with the lyric since Twisted Tenderness.

Speaking of "Crystal" I was listening to that song yesterday and of "radiation" I was watching a documentary on tschernobyl(4/26/86-radiation disaster)a few hours ago. Hence, my response to some idiots walking around in that place 20 years later not realizing that there is still a considerable amount of radiation lingering in that place, in my signature. Anyway, I think Crystal is one of NO's best songs.....

So Regret isn't rocking?
Has anyone also noticed that PRIMAL SCREAM'S 'SHOOT SPEED, KILL LIGHT' that Barney guitared on is nearly exactly the same riff that ROCK THE SHACK has?
Regret is more POP than Rock.....Crystal is Rock meets Electronica.....Plus the Republic album didn't really rock at all, whereas Get Ready most certainly did.

On the subject of electronic, does anyone know where the bit of what seems to be movie dialog about 'afraid to touch a knife for fear I'd cut my throat' on...er...was it Idiot Country or a remix thereof...whichever track it was...anyone know where its from?
And am I the only one who wishes the rest of 'twisted tenderness' lp was of the same standard as the title track and 'like no other'? Or are those merely the most 'accsessable' and I'm just revealing my lack of muso sophistication?
