I still like the "I am Canadian" adds. I love how we make fun of the Americans. My favorite is the American girl who says "Do you know tom, he works in an office" And the Canadian guy answers "Office tom, yea he's dead" then walks away. I love it because when I lived in the US, people would say that to me all the time, I just wish I used the "he's dead" line.
not to be a cynic, but it's a little disturbing that our canadian indentity and pride is best represeneted by beer commercials.

It's actually canadian identies as far as I'm concerned.. we sure live in the same country, but we have a different language, different laws, different ways of thinking.. so it's always been two identies in the same country...!
But I'm glad those ads were done, it's true most people think english-canadians are just like americans, and it's not true.. it's not a bad or a good thing, it's just different just like a brit and an american!

Apologies for being a complete philistine (that's one more title to add to my impressive roll call of character traits then :D ) but have I missed something here? - who is this JS person whose name I keep seeing censored for some reason? Is this a result of an automatic censor in force on this site or is it merely the evil that dare not spell its own name??

Absolutely, but as he so eloquently and yet almost childishly put in his diatribe about people potentially phoning London Records.....I can get you closed down whenever I want to nar nar nenar nar..... As I said, he's currently appearing as the bloke who put The Panik first. Just because you link to his rather feeble rival site doesn't mean all is necessarily well in love and war !
